G'day From Gladstone

G'day,

In about 2 weeks I'll be picking up my 2007 Hilux 4x4 Diesel. My current car is a 1996 Petrol 2x4 Hilux and it is needing a rest. It has 323000kms on the clock now. Still runs great and isn't smokey, but I want to start taking my kids to the places my old man used to take me and the family when I was a kid.

I'd love to put a windsor in the 2wd, but I don't have the room to keep it

My father is to blame for the Toyotas, that is mainly what he had when I was growing up. He had 2x4's and a 1984 petrol 4x4 that got nearly 450,000kms on it before we fitted a reco engine in it.Before the Hiluxs I had a 1995 DC LTD 5l and it was great at the time and before that I had an Ford XF ute that I fitted a 4v Cleveland to that used to run 11.55 @117mph down the strip.

Cheers,

Kris.
If I had a dog that looked like him, I'd shave it's arse and make it walk backwards.

Welcome to the site Kris... unfortunately this site is designed to strip you of any money you were saving and pour it into your truck as mods ! ;)

Make sure you check out the tips and tricks and peoples 'sheds' to see what and how things are done..
