Hey,

Im new to the 4x4 scene. Just bought my 2005 SR5 V6 Hilux in maroon. Used to own tuner cars, but now just moving onto a different scene to experience different things.

So far i've installed a Universal Headunit with GPS, BT, DVD, Digital Tv, Ipod, USB and AUX in connectivity with reverse camera. Got a cheap slim line sub and amp in.
De-badged the whole car, including TRD style vinyls. Got the front Toyota badge and rear sports bar painted black. Going for that dark stealth look and cheap mods for the time being.

Will need to do more research on what other mods to do, ie. bull bar, lift kit, wheels and tyres.
Looking forward to learn from you guys.

Cheers.
Vincent.

Cheer mate.
I got the head unit from a mate who got it from Ebay.
Here is a link.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HD-Universal-Double-Din-CAR-RADIO-DVD-BT-iPod-GPS-dual-/220595482554?cmd=ViewItem&pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item335c83efba

It was pretty difficult to fit the head unit as the mounting bracket screw holes were different. So a bit of modifying needed to be done. Its pretty good to use. But could be better which the sensitivity of the touch screen, and a few of the play back features with ipod and USB. But GPS integration is superb.
