Hows it going everyone? Names Josh and im 24 from the hornsby area of sydneys northern suburbs. I'm in the hunt for an 06 or 07 sr5 dual cab hilux and have a budget of around $38000. Looking forward to getting out and doing some beach runs and getting it nice and muddy and really testing out the hilux name. Have test drove the navara but I feel as though the hilux rides better and just "feels" much more solid. Not to mention all the problems i have read about the nissans clutch and engine problems. So feel free to say hi and I shall be posting up some photos of the new beasty once I have found the right one in a week or two. Oh and if anyone has any pointers to look out for while inspecting these machines please let me know.

Regards Josh.

Gday Josh

I found my Lux at the Government Auctions

http://www.governmentauctions.com.au/

Could Be worth a look. The new listing are Posted about 5pm on a Friday. There are some you can Buy straight away and others that will go to auction during the week. Even if you don't get one from here is a fairly good guide for pricing.

Cheers,

Jiggins

Hey guys thanx for your advice, just one quick question for all the guru's out there. Besides the year they are made in, what are the main differences (if any) between the 2005 till present sr5 turbo diesel hilux?

Regards Josh
