A Big G'Day from a new Hilux owner

Hi everyone, Found this site while researching some stuff for my new (well new to me anyway  ) Hilux.heaps of good info here too.
I pick it up this weekend and can't wait. :D Been through a few 4bys now and way too many street cars to mention. This will be my second Lux and probally not my last.Been involved in a few 4wd comps, ran a modded Jeep for 7 yrs competed in tuff truck, woodpecker, nissan trials, willoglen, various navruns, plenty of jeep jambos,a few club jamborees, heaps of club events and a heap of others that I've forgotten, but have now caught the touring bug and got sick of working late nights on a 4by to got out for a weekend and come back monday to start all over again, not to mention waiting at least 6 weeks for everything to come over ex us.

It's an 06 Diesel SR5 XTra cab about half way to becoming a great tourer.

Welcome Jumbo,

Good times and info to be had here ;)
On the internet you can be anything you want. It is strange that so many people choose to be stupid!

Hi mate welcome
You found a good site here for info. But a bad site for your wallet very bad.
Especially with a blank canvas ;)

G'day Jumbo,

Welcome to the site - it's a great place to find new ways to spend money and go on fun trips! :)

Just don't follow certain members down a hill unless you've got a spare 3 days on your hand! ;)

Cheers,

Watto

Thanks for the warm welcome all, The Hilux couldn't possibly be worse than the jeep for spending $$$$$$ on Especially when you know what JEEP actually stands for.. Just Empty Every Pocket..
3 days for a little down hill sounds like FUN to me My day trips some how nearly always end up 2 days or more for some reason.
Nah not Firetruck but i knew Shane when he was building it and we competed a few times.I'm from a little further North.

I hope to get out and about on a few trips and meet up with a few members soon.
