New 'Luxxer in Brizzy

Hey all.

Well after 3 mths wait I finally picked up my new (and first ever) Hilux. It is a SR D4D in manual and I am more than impressed with it so far.

It is sooo much nicer than my last truck (a 2002 petrol Triton) and so far all I have done is shod it with BFG A/Ts and some roof racks. The TJM bar and UHF will go in on Fri, and then we will see how we go.

I will post some pics if I can figure out how....

Welcome to the site Scott. I'm sure you will love it. Plenty of good info on this forum which will help you customise your beast. With the pictures, the best way to do it is to set up an account on www.photobucket.com -just upload your pics and edit them there. Then click the "post reply" tab, and insert the IMG code which can be copied straight from photo bucket or used with the IMG tab and the actual photos url. I'm sure there’s some threads on it if you use the search function.

They're great aren't they!

We should definitely tee up some outings to Mt Mee/Glasshouse.

Welcome to the forum, you'll enjoy it. :D

Thanks Whitey.

A trip to Glasshouse/Mt Mee sound good. I used to do a bit of dirt bike riding up at both places and would be keen to get back for a day or two (with a stopover at Neurum Creek thrown in as well).

This site has been good - I have already done a couple of the mods (key and door beeper) and am always looking for more things to do.

These two are from camping on the long weekend. Toolboxes, bullbar and roof racks fitted.

Will take some "kitted out for work" - ie. ladders etc and put them up soon.
