Had a93 &now a 2006 but with 18 inch rims, what do I do?

Had a 93 and now moved onto a 2006

This site looks great
Will be a good way to get some information and advice on what to do.

My old Hilux had TJM Bull bar and side bars, side steps and a rear bar
Safari Snorkel and
Plenty of lights

This new one has basically nothing so will be looking to bring it up to spec so i can go get it dirty.

The bozo who owned it before me put 18 inch chrome rims on it
Are the any optons for running a reasonable off road set of rubbers on this set of rims or am i screwed?

Mate not to sure about 18inch wheels and off road rubber. 17,16and 15's seem to be the flavour around here..
You are just around the corner from me at Artarmon. You might have seen me around as I think I saw you...

You can get lots of decent rubber to suit 18s.....Most are 33s and up but.......18s also start getting a little pricey!

I will def look into the price of those Mickeys. I am sure an expensive set of tires will still be cheaper than a full new set of rims.

well not unless you get some sunnys and put your off road rubber on them that will work out cheaper for ya and keep the 18s for road use. food for thought

Have done some number crunching and getting some steal rims sounds like the Go!

Might go get on Ebay anf find some cheap ones I can clean up.
