G'day all,

I've finally come full circle back into hilux ownership. My first car when I turned 17 was an old '96 workmate purchased from my old man. Since then I've been through a triton, a clapped out ford courier and have now landed a 2011 SR 4x4.

After doing a lot of reading and research on this forum as a guest I'm now jumping aboard.

Particularly enjoyed discussions on EGR systems and reading through all the info about injectors and the 1KD rattles. They really helped to get myself informed when shopping around marketplace and going through pre purchase inspection with my mechanic.

The better informed you are when making a purchase, the better your prospective purchase will be.
As for the more technical issues, I may not be completely informed, I'll offer what I can, when I can.
