Hello everyone,

Damo here from Perth WA.
Picked up my first 4x4 yesterday.
2010 hilux SR 4.0 V6 Petrol dual cab with canopy.

No mods on her as yet but will slowly get her ready for some gold prospecting and camping in the near future..

A ton of great info on here from you guys already will definitely get me started.

Cheers

Welcome. I would recommend getting your transmission fluid flushed ASAP and getting a cooler on it if it doesn’t have one. The other good mod is 120 ‘cruiser front brakes but needs 17” rims. 265/65/17 tyres will fix your speedo inaccuracy too.
If the suspension is original will probably need front springs as they tend to sag badly.

The rest is all preference based.
