Hello everyone, my name is Andrew and i live in the western downs in Queensland. I have had 2 hiluxes the first was a 2000 model 3liter diesel single cab. That old girl was rough and tough, and slow. Unfortunately for it it was my first car and i flipped it about 30000ks later on the way to a B&S ball!!. To it's credit it did another 235000ks after being fixed pulled a horse float, carried seed and fertilizers and stock feed (she carried a ton well) untill the poor old girl copped a stick in the radiator and the motor ceased. That was at the start of 2010. The other hilux i still have is a august 2006 d4d sr space cab that i bought new it now has just kicked over 400000ks. It had from new steel tray,2 post tuff bullbar with sidestepps and side rails, ipf spotlights (now 9" illuminators) 225/75/16 bfg muddies (now 245/75/16 bfg all terrains on sunraiser rims), GME uhf,Toyota canvas seat covers . Added since are TJM snorkel, Durashock +400 suspension and cv shafts(last year at 375000ks along with recon gear box and new heavy duty clutch all fitted by driveline services at Archerfield in brissy). New injectors at 365000ks by Diesel care in gundi. Also have a sunset canvas canopy with a adventure kings awning (2.5×2.5) . All in all i love this ute and will continue to drive it for a fair while yet. I am looking forward to looking aroung the forum and getting some good tips. I also have a 2012 gx prado(my wife's car), and a 1981 hj 47 landcruser ute (work ute)
