Just thought I'd say hi, been quietly pesting around this forum drawing inspiration and getting a few ideas as I just took delivery of my 2018 SR5 DC 4x4 Manual in Graphite.

It's my 3rd Hilux(first brand new one) my first being a LN61 Surf the second a KZN165 SR5 with a few mods which served my well for many years and now the N80 has it taken its place.

The new one


The LN had a few simple mods, lift, winch, rear locker etc & the KNZ had pretty much the same but a few more external accessories for camping / touring etc.

Plans for the new one are more build more of a touring / camping rig & not get carried away(yeah right...) So far I have the factory snorkel, hard lid etc. Will create a build thread in coming weeks.

can you shed some light on the rack on tub? I'm looking to add something like this. (more pictures of it too would be awesome)

No worries, its a "UTE MASTER" load lid, made here in NZ http://www.utemaster.co.nz/our-products ... /standard/

Very easy to install, took two of us 30mins or so. Will take a few more pics for you over the next couple of days.
