Hi(lux) from Brisbane haha

Hi.

I've had hiluxs most of my life but my current one is the newest. Who needs new when you have reliable right? Owned 22r's and the 1.8 litre version and a Surf and my whole family swears Toyota as they are from a farming background.

My current project is a 2006 2wd 2TR-FE.
Currently boosted to 7psi but the new motor is nearly finished (just springs and compression lowered 8.8)
Turbo is a Garrett GTX-2867R. The exhaust is a bit of a frankenstein with a varrex pushing dual 2.5 inch exhausts to the left and right. Some body work but still looking at options to lower skirts etc. ;)

Thanks for the info I've already gleaned from the site. Especially the wiring up of a 2014 standard headunit to the older harness. Hopefully I can offer advice at some point to to share the wealth!

Thank you Deadlybeast.

I'm now wiring up the Haltech Elite 1000 to replace the standard ecu. It's a pain in the ass but I can't go more than 6psi as it currently sits.

Hopefully tomorrow I will have wired up the injectors, throttle position sensor and the cam sensor and I can start mucking around with the maps:)
