I just ordered a dual cab auto diesel sr5 in white with factory canopy, tow bar, snorkel, tub liner, rubber mats, nudge bar and rear dust seal for 62k. Comes in 4 weeks.

I was living in ACT when I bought my '12 SR5 & I bought it from Sydney as the 'locals' would only sell the rolux for RRP

After they found out I bought in Sydney then they start harassing me as to why I didn't tell them the price they 'needed to beat'

I got local Toy. company to install tub liner and tow bar & what a mess, tub liner didn't fit, cant lock tow ball onto rolux etc.

Much more competition in Sydney and not the 'your a public servant' so you can afford to pay 3.5K more !!!

Hey mate, I'm hearing you. I bought my last prado from Goulburn as I had dreadful issues like you using Canberra Toyota for parts and service.

There's a new dealer in Tuggeranong thats not part of Canberra Toyota and I have found them to be quite good and hence bought my new hilux from them.

I think I got a pretty good deal.
