Hi guys
Joined about two weeks ago. Just took delivery of my new 2010 SR extra cab 4 x 2 on friday. Drove it from the Gold coast to Canberra. I absolutely love it. Spent 12 hours in the cab and was a bit concerned about the comfort of the SR seats, however they were really good and the general lay out of the cab is great. No problems with the stereo blue tooth worked fine with the iphone ,even sound qaulity through the standard speakers was pretty good. Very happy with the vehicle had a great trip all up, drove it through rain and shine night and day just brilliant.

Great site packed full of good information. can't wait to start spending money on the ute.

thanks for the welcome guys.
Trip to Gold coast was mainly price ,colour and to impatient to wait for 2011 stock.

The Hilux will be a basic drive to work vehicle, with plenty of trips to bunnings (backyard fix up).

Some basic mods planned tinting, new speakers, wheels and tyres, lowered, hard toneau.

 yeah your right sometimes it is worth traveling to get a better price, I almost went interstate when I bought my Ktm the prices over in Melbourne were more competitive than over here in SA, in the end the dealer gave me an offer I couldent refuse so I bought it :D. It was a perfect example of how much you can save if you shop around ;)
