G'day Everyone,
I'm from the Sunshine Coast and I've just bought a new V6 SR dual cab. Very comfortable after 6 years and 200,000kms in a 95 2.8 deisel. I'm starting to get used to going from 60KW deisel to 175KW petrol.
Had it nearly 2 weeks now and I've added a towbar, rust proofing and tinting and ordered some custom seat covers. We have just booked a trip to Fraser for 7 nights, so I have a deadline to get some 31,10.5 R15s and wheels on it and hopefully a 50mm lift.
I tried the old Hilux wheels today and realised I needed to research the offset etc a bit further.
I've checked out the info on infinity but will look into alloy wheels as well.
Heaps of good info on this site, I've already spent hrs reading.
Also I will be adding a tonneau in the next week.
After that it should be just drive and enjoy.

Thanks MXer.
I decided on 16x7 black rims and 245/75r16 mickey thompson all terrains. They are getting fitted tomorrow. I have an EFS 50mm lift arriving tomorrow so I will fit it on Sunday.
At the moment it has 210mm of clearance under the front diff.
It should be looking better next week.

I've nearly got these new coils on the new struts, these spring compressers are hard work. I'm having alot of trouble with them. Nearly got the last one on and they moved around to one side bending the spring one way. Now they are jammed on there. I have to wait till the shop opens now to get another pair.

The suspension is all finished. I took the swaybar off while I was there, see how it goes without it.
I haven't had time to drive it or measure it yet, but it looks heaps better.
