Rear Door rubber Boot Cable Protector

Postby rodfather on Sat, 05 Feb 2011 11:13 +0000

I am currently rebuilding a 2002 dual cab and I am about to install central locking electric windows speakers and soundproofing to the rear doors.

I am looking for the rubber boot which goes between the door and the center pillar it looks like a convoluted rubber tube with two grommets on each end.

Does anyone knows what this part is called where it is supplied a part number anything that will help me.

Thanks

Stupid question, but have you tried your local Toyota spare parts dealer.

Im in the process of installing dynamat in all 4 door, and splits in all 4 doors (20hrs in about 20 to go)
and buy what i have noticed the front and rear are different + they are different to any ive seen on other cars.
If you dont have or wish to use original holes autobarn sell round ones(same size as the rubber tube in middle with out the large grommets on end. All you need to do is drill a 1/2" hole and push it on
