Hi I own a 2008 Hilux dual cab manual which I love. I'm new here and not sure if this is the right thread. Did a search and don't think this item has been covered before.
My partners boy is considering buying a 2002 dual cab 2wd 2.7 auto with 90k on it.
Anyone know what are the issues to look out for with this ute? Any ideas on checking if the speedo has been tampered with.

rear main seal leaking is common in almost all hilux (i know the diesel probs the petrol as well)

not sure about problems but i will also have a similar unit for sale 2002 dual cab 2wd auto 80k with excellent tray on the back. If you donr mind me asking what sort of dollars are you paying?
