Using a 2016 4x2 offroad?

Other than ground clearance and tires, are there any real differences in suspension or strength of drivetrain etc?

Planning on getting 4x2, putting some all terrains on it, lifting it 2 inches maybe. No serious offroading, just for dirt roads mainly.

Thanks in advance

There's a fair bit of difference in both front and rear suspension setups. The front is similar to the 4wd but its more compact and doesn't accept a as well. It can be done but its not as easy as swapping a 4wd lift kit in.

While the rear is a leaf setup, the parts are different. Easiest route would be to get the springs reset.

Drivetrain again has difference but it will more than adequate for dirt roads.

At the same time I'd suggest speaking to the person doing the resetting about putting in an extra leaf or two. Usually one small leaf (6 to 8 mm) if it's just a straight reset, another leaf if you're gonna be carrying extra or more load than previously. If the dirt roads are not maintained well and are kinda rough you might wanna raise the 6 to 8 to maybe 8 to 10mm

if you get into any stick situations that 4x2 will be a pain !
