LN106 Rotors Standard or Drilled and Slotted? Thoughts?

I have a LN106 1994 I was checking my pads and I noticed my rotors are thin and not so healthy, machining isn’t an option as they are to thin. I had a quick look and there seem to be a few options. What is everyone running? standard like these https://www.onlineautoparts.com.au/products/ZPN-01870 ? Or does everyone run Drilled and Slotted like these https://www.onlineautoparts.com.au/products/ZPN-03385 ?

Don't bother getting crosses drilled rotors. It's only done for looks, nothing more! All they do is crack around the holes. Do you see many race cars use drilled ones anymore? Nope! Vented and slotted is all ya need.

Buy T2 or T3 DBA if your budget allows. Good Aussie made examples. But you can buy regular Chinese made for 1/4 of the price.

Thanks guys, I ended up going with the Tora as they had a flash sale on. I will see how they go even if they only give me 12 months they get me out of trouble and its what I can afford for now. I will keep everyone posted.

Try www.sparesbox.com.au

I bought Bendix pads and rear shoes for my 2012 SR5 and it cost me $120 in total, free delivery

I actually had an issue with spares box before  I ordered a set of pads for my partners Pajero and they weren't delivered in two weeks. I gave them a ring and they couldn't give me an answer to why I finally got onto someone who wanted to help and they explained the items were on backorder. No one rang me or let me know and they were a pain to get a refund on. I am hesitant to deal with them again because of this.

I had the same problem with them on my very first order, the oil was on backorder, no email/phone call.

But in all honesty, I have used them close to a dozen times since then, and no issues at all. For my pricey stuff, I will only go to Sparesbox, I will only go to one of the bricks and mortar stores if they have a RED HOT sale on something

I ordered from Spares box, pads in a couple of days and the rotors a week. Perfect.

Yeah, guess it just left a bad taste in my mouth. Seems like they might have picked their act up a bit. But still seems they have the same problem of not contacting people for their backorders. I just checked their reviews.
