LN106 Front Wheel Bearings thoughts?

Postby MrTwoCents on Thu, 21 Nov 2019 2:51 +0000

Afternoon everyone, my wheel bearings are due for a change and I found two different sets on OnlineAutoParts.com.au Koyo here $69.75 for both sides https://www.onlineautoparts.com.au/prod ... 804.action? and Timken here $79.75 for both sides https://www.onlineautoparts.com.au/prod ... 948.action? I was surprised to see the Koyos being cheaper than the Timkens, from what I have heard they are the more popular option. Was just wondering if anyone has used either kit or has bought from these guys before.

Cheers, Paul.

Hi, put your vin into partsouq.com and see what part number it has. You can buy parts there as well, just make sure you put the site into AUD and check the freight costs before making your purchase.
I might be wrong.

2005 SR Hilux 1KD - SOLD
2009 BMW X5 - destroyed by a hail storm
2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 - SOLD
2015 Ford Ranger

Hey Paul, how did you go with this kit :?: :?: I just saw http://www.onlineautoparts.com.au has a Black Friday sale on 20% off store wide. Need to do my bearings as well and a few other bits and bobs.

Hey mate, as Koyo is a trusted Japanese brand I ended up going with that kit. I was super happy to see that the bearings were genuine Koyo and the kit fitted up fine. I actually ended up going instore to the http://www.onlineautoparts.com.au Virginia warehouse after buying the kit online and selected pick up. If they are having a sale grab it. It is already a great kit for the price.
