Anything is possible but why, turbo equals free power with a diesel,
You'll need to make sure the crank is upto the challenge, Toyota have a problem of using woodruff key on the balancer or not keying then the full length of the pull so when torque is added to the pull, ie with a blower, the key fails and you spin the balancer
You'll also have to quite the exhaust as a turbo takes some db's out, + you'll have to custom make so headers or an adaptor plate where turbo use to bolt on

Just not worth in my option

Plenty of high performance options based around using a turbo. Like John said, it's just not worth it.
