1999 ln167r Rear Differential installation (Help)

Hi guys recently I have blown my diff have no idea how or how I caused it I have sourced a recondition rear diff centre.
I'm just wondering what would be involed installing it and removing it will put pictures soon. If anybody could please shed some light on the situation please comment.
