Does your navigation still work ok? The SD card is what the nav program and maps are on.

The other thing you can do is, while the vehicle is off, remove the SD card, give the card contacts a clean and then reinsert it in the radio. Just make sure your nav works afterwards.

What year model is your Hilux? I was of the impression that SD is really only used for nav in the late model units, and if you dont have nav then the SD card slot would be empty.

If you dont have nav, then it shouldnt be too much of an issue to remove the card and give the contacts a clean as I suggested above. THat or try a different card.

Boxhead might be able to shed some more light on the issue ... he is the Toyo guru !!!

Mine keeps displaying this message every time the car is turned off and on again. The OK button doesn't disable the message like it says it will. Only thing I have done is remove the multimedia unit from the dash for about 10 minutes.

Any idea on a fix?
