scam or deal of the century ???

Just updating everyone on a new scam going around. 3rd time this week I've received the same message.
They send you a message saying something along the lines of "hey mate love ur ute. What is the lowest u will go my budget is 12000$ cheers bud" All messages have terrible gramma and all say the are coming from interstate and ask for a price reduction because of it. After that they then ask for a photo of the rego papers.
These scammers are going the extra mile though and calling you as well and insist they arnt spamming you. Also refuse to tell you their names
