I currently have the 2.5 diesel engine in my hilux. As I'm doing a lot of towing, I was wondering what, if possible, engine I could drop into it without too much fabrication.

Have a look a foton cars and trucks as a doner
They can be had very cheap due to the low new price, there are also a lot of written off models at auctions
The car itself is crap but drive train is A1 cummins isf, they come in 2.8 or 3.8 with up to 600nm available
If your looking at the 2.8 the car comes in a 4x4 option so your box is sorted there as well

farting is alot like jxxxxxg off. both provide instant gratification, but neither is a long term solution to the actual problem......................
