New Product - Aeroforce Interceptor 52mm "Multi OBDII" Gauge

Postby Monster Rides on Tue, 21 Sep 2010 8:20 +0000

G'Day Fellas,

We are just about to bring in some of these awesome gauges from Aeroforce in the US.
The interceptor is a multi function gauge which connects through the OBDII plug and will display all the information from your ECU.

It has awesome features and is very customisable.

Here are the auxiliary sensors which can be plugged in... )maximum of 2 analog sensors)

RACECAM is going to guinea pig this new gauge and post some results.

For those with the pillar pod it might be worth looking at, obviously you already have 2 gauges, but this gauge can also do boost or EGT, so it might be an option to replace one.

Here is the pillar pod thread:

We will bring these Interceptors in shortly, probably offer a group buy if there is sufficient demand.

Cheers
Matt

At this stage about $325 landed and shipped to you for the basic unit.

Thanks

Nice one fellas...

I'm pretty pumped for this gauge myself!

Something I forgot to mention... we can get a "TRD" facing that looks pretty trick 8-)

This is a cool idea... used the lower hole in the pillar pod to mount a GPS on a bendable mount.

Here is a triple set up from a FJ Cruiser

And one in use with the red lights, mounted in a 4Runner from the US

I will be ordering the EGT and boost sensor modules as well.
Think I'll go for a white display.

Looking to lock in a order this weekend... Interested parties so far:

You might want to start a "group buy" of sorts on here to get a team of Bank Robbers together.

This is only just the begininng of what we are bringing to the market over the next few months.

Be warned.

You will need cash in the coming months

Mate I would need 5 to get a further discount.

I'm happy to facilitate the purchase for you guys either way, so I'll bring in the goods, then send them to you all.
With pillar pods if you also require them.

Cheers

Had them on my last car, can do alot of functions, one good one is able to check and clear falt codes, for the guys with FI inlet temps is good, trans temps for the auto guys, shift lights for the drag guys and so much more. Quiet easy to use too.
Also any dramas you might have they have a forum where you can ask questions etc.

Good find Matt, some guys with Scangauge may not want the OBDII version. Can it be configured to read in metric?

If I was doing this with OBDII on a diesel, I would be looking at stuff like Coolant temp, air inlet temp, fuel pressure, ECU Voltage, air flow and maybe Calculated load.

I'd also appreciate a confirmation on whether it can be configured for metric, cheers mate.

This gauge can be configured to Metric.

Thanks

Worthwhile...

I will run a Dual volts gauge and this Interceptor with the Boost and EGT inputs.

Then you can display the EGT and Boost, and set up alarms on anything else you want to monitor.
