Hi All,
Have been around the forum for some time now and have always wanted to start my build thread but have kept putting off due to time. Well I found myself with some time so here it goes - first time trying to post photos.

Unfortunately I do not have any real before photos that I can find

The lux currently has:
Core Upgrades:
- 3 to 4" Bilstein front struts with top dog HD springs
- Rear RockCrawler springs: Carrying constant 300kg to GVM.
- Rear lift block to level car
- Allied 16x7 wheels
- 265/75 Baja Radial MTZ (Mickey Thompson - of course)
- chip-it performance module
- Sprint booster

Mods:
- Key beeper
- Power to windows constant
- Seat belt beeper (hate beepers!!)
- Rear seat fold down - what a great mod!

Suspension upgrade as it happened:

CV angle - seemed fairly extreme in my view:

Then all back together with stock sr5 wheels:

Was also evident that front was slightly nose up which, while trying to level out my truck, was not my desired look... So some rear lift blocks were installed:

Now for tyres - really wanted to go big (33") but was just too nervous about chopping etc so went for 265/75 (for now!!!)

Now as we all do when we add a suspension kit and wheels...... we find some unsuspecting hilux owner to park next to so we can get a sense for the height gained - mmaaxx you recognise the background - where better to find a hilux than Bunnings (Taylors Lakes)

Well that's where I am at - bullbar and snorkel are next but still not sure which bar to go for.

thanks Dan - XROX is definitely up there and look fantastic. I have been really toying with the whole import idea as the VPR bars have really caught my eye. I did drop them an email but haven't heard back yet.

Very nice, mate. She looks rather menacing. :-)
The blue wall tyres don't quite fit the image and the side steps are too straight, though...

Looks awesome but from that photo I would be fitting a MR diff drop kit ASAP for those cv's.

Looking good mate, it really puts it into perspective when your parked next to a stock lux  money well spent ;)

Cheers Troy

Yep - will certainly be one of the next additions. I noticed a fair bit of resistance when in 4wd and tight turning on the beach over Xmas which had me worried - has anyonbe else noticed that with 3-4" lift and without the diff drop kit ? I am assuming the drop kit will resolve this ?

Thanks mate - we always seem to be going in opposite directions when I see you!! We will have to catch up sometime and you can give me a few pointers ;)
