my mate had a solo x in his toyota yaris sedan. pulled 138db i think from memory he was using response amps about 4 of them, my mate had 2 12" digital designs in the boot of his ah astra and he pulled 148db won a few comps in perth this was 3 years ago or so.
i have a alpine/polk audio setup in my lux and a complete type r setup in my s15.. does the job okay but i prefer the lux setup :D

your work is fantastic btw being around car audio a lot in my life i know how difficult it can be :P

^^^^^thanks bud appreciated. Yeah I'm adding kicks (same drivers as midrange) for midbass as I'm lacking a little lol. Might go fully active so I'll need to add amps as well.

Good info mate. Not enough 4x2 Hilux info on this board.

got pics of the 315's fitted? Talk about GIRTH!

What did the rear disk setup cost from Hoppers Stoppers?

Great work on the front Supra setup. Did you have to upgrqade the master cylinder to run the rear disc on this setup?

if you could share what you did to make the front calipers fit/work that would be appreciated.

No I didn't have upgrade the master cylinder so quite odd that they say you do. It works perfectly fine.

I am also interested in learning more about your brake upgrade, also with the 4"drop was there any other mods needed, did the steering bind anywhere?
I have a v6 xtracab and want to lower it a bit but have been told 2" in the rear and 35-40mm in the front is as low as I should go.
3" all around would be better.

Thanks

Wheels don't bind. Brakes are working well. The kit isn't mine to give away so it is something you will need to purchase from my mate.

Have blown my Diff center so have just replaced it.

AS you can see the Pinion shaft was smashing the Pinion gear.

So I thought I might as well put a Eaton Detroit Locker in :D

Updating my stereo as well. I've 6 of these stereo's and that probably the same number of how many others are in Australia. This is a Pioneer ODR system and new the CD player and Processor retailed for $19,000 from memory. Decided to use this on my Hilux instead of the GTO TT...

I sanded off the anodizing (omg that shit is hard) and slowly went up the ladder with paper grit to a mirror finish.
