I just got the grinder out and took a bit off it. I have since those photos were taken thrown sikaflex over the joints and where i cut etc.

Havent been offroad yet so dont know if anything rubs anywhere but my two week trip around fraser and the barrington tops should sort that out :D

I followed Maxxs beer and bash thread, broke my heart hitting the lux with a lump hammer. The only place my tyres hit is the body mount bracket but thats more on the bitumen hitting driveways. I also ripped out my arb underside cover plates both sides when in Victoria, I should have folded them up as well

I havent felt a stock hilux ride for a very long time so I dont really know  But they already feel much better than the OME setup I had in the front. Smoother definitely.

Yeah it does its job very well. Im blowing a fair bit of black smoke at the moment but It cant be from the filter, im almost 100% sure its because ive cleaned my egr and its now letting all the exhaust through.

The arb plates are pretty much a stone guard and for appearances, although being I have the body lift the passenger side exposes my washer bottle. Actually going to try and modify mine this afternoon. The one thing without them on is the inner guard keeps being pushed back onto my tyre on the freeway, there is only so much cable ties can do :?
Cant wait to see some pics and preferably more than just some rims on a car sitting on car stands 8-)

Did I make any sense on the phone last night mate??

I was out for a christmas in july party for work and was well canned up and the pokies were just sucking every last cent out of me

So did I say anything embarrassing or promise to do something?? Because i cannot remember much of last night  :D

Ohh the things you said you would do.....

I could hear the pokies in the back ground. You didn't sound canned and made lots of scense, maybe you weren't as canned as you thought :? , although it was still realatively early :D

What do they say, "pics or it didn't happen", so unless you post up some sorry pics, there probably wasn't to much to remember from last night anyway, well that's how I look at these events :? :D

Noidea wrote:Also I might add and to clarify. Im running 285/70/17 KM2's. On dynamic 17x8 +10 offset rims and and full lock to lock I get zero rubbing anywhere. Yes none :) With a little compression in the front and when the wheels are slightly turned I do rub but on closer inspection its just touching the plastic guard and not the body mount.

here you go Dan
