put the chip it module in today didnt end the way i had planned soon as i turned it on the bloody think went straight into limp mode engine light come on. so ive disconnected the power to it, so back to norm.
what is the process with the engine light do i contact chip it or a mechanic??

Mate where did you get your turbo timer from?

yea i do alot of big trips up north so i guess its just a good lil safe gaurd fot the snail.

Hey Fellas,

made it back from our trip up north truck ran a treat, the MR rekon gear blew my mind as to what it was able to do. went head to head with a rv cruiser that runs a 4 inch superior lift and threw up less wheels the whole way will post pics of them side buy side pretty impressive to see the lil hilux hammering a live axel truck.

few lil things went on the truck as you know i fitted the chip it module before i left this coupled with the 33s and the big load was the last straw for my standard clutch came out of a rise heading into weipa and lost all drive but after the stink came through the cab i knew what it was so had to baby it for the rest of the trip no biggie. ordered a new 4 terrain clutch when i hit seisa. will be putting that bad boi in this week.

poped my head under the ute whan i was cleaning it noticed that i had made contact with the drivers side body mount even at normal driving so went for an alignment and still no change i suspect i have bent something?? hilux gods can u shed any light in this???

as for latest mods on the truck i have installed a outback roof console, egr blank off and the clutch will go in this week.

hahaha i said to the missus i know that car but i dont know were from, dawned on me as we left archer that arvo. i was gunna pop back and say g day but we had to meet the ppl from wolverdon that arvo.

Yeah I was thinking the same. I was pretty sure you would be from here with the Monster Rides Sticker. How did you go in Palm Creek with the lockers? I ended up winching up, didnt want to hit it any harder when it throws you into the bank like that..

I have got some depo angel eyes from monster rides, i want to get them in but i have found that the new pro high low hid head light upgrades wont fit the lights i have tried to get hold of new pro and MR but it seems they have disapeared off the face of the earth lol?? i want to just do a bulb swap if i can and run the same ballas and wiring any help would be much appreciated.

On a brighter note ended up scoring a shoot in 4WD action they came up north and did a shoot over a week, gave me good reason to buy a new BB and winch, not sure on what issue but the nailed some awsome shots.

mod side of things, i installed an egr blanking plate the other week turned out to be an epic fail it has cocked up the whole egr valve all together so engine light is stuck on exhaust gas restriction. will be putting new egr in this week, looking along the lines of a pro vent system that the new triton fellas are useing.
