Well i'm finally a full member now, i actually have my Hilux . Very happy , took it straight out the beach , only had 150km's on it , and already pulled 2 cars out of a bog. Haven't let the tyres down yet and it hasn't even looked like getting stuck. definately need TC and VSC turned off when on the beach , it actually turns itself off automaticaly when you put it in L4. Heres some pics of her so far.

yeah i tried a few local places and they all said the same thing, apparantly all the tyres coming in were all pre ordered from other shops. anyway i'm happy with these and it will be a good test to see how they stack up against my brothers km2's.
cheers

they are the standard rims that come on the sr5 now . 17" . they need to be that big to accomodate the new bigger brakes . not many 16" rims will fit now . tyre size is 265/70/17

thanks for the comments.

there is a bit of road noise but not as much as i was expecting , with the radio ect on you can't really notice it , but if you turn the volume down you can hear the humm.

Hey Mate, truck looks great! What lift did you put in it? I went to put and old man emu in but because they dont have a proportioning valve in the rear end, ARB installer was a bit iffy installing with the new TC and VSC. ARB are still doing R&D but should be sweet to go in March. Have you had any trouble with your truck lift and the VSC?

Looks like I own ya trucks sista!
