Thanks Knoxy! Probably should read my own build soon, I can hardly remember all this myself. Been a busy couple of years with work.

Still got the Hilux, not a heap has changed since the last update. DMS front suspension cracked and looking for something else or put the ultimate suspension back in. Either way I'll be going back to basic lift, something easier to put in and out.

It's almost due for new tread again on the rear, I would love to rotate the tyres but I have some cuts in the rear tyres and not confident in throwing them on the front. Probably look at getting km2's again I think, same size.

Something else on the list is timing belt as she has just clocked over 150,000kms, also new clutch and maybe HKS.

And yes Jake, I did also add a cruiser to the stable earlier this year, still a slow build in progress, won't be doing to much to it, it's mainly just a work horse. Hilux is still the money pit, keep it for my toy, to many dints to sell it anyway!
Got the cruiser back in feb I think. Arb bar, canvas seat covers, gme uhf, gvm upgrade to 3780, tow bar, 2nd fuel filter and can't remember what else.
Left the dealership with my hilux tray on the rear as they wouldn't let it go without a tray, pain in the arse! Once home I built a cheap basic tray to throw on and over the last couple of months I've been building a decent tray with boxes, draws and extra's. Beginning to regret it though because I can't find the time to finish it and all the bits and pieces I decided to add on its becoming a headache. Hopefully have it done before Christmas :?

Will probably widen the rear diff to match the front, new 8inch wide rims of some sort to fit some decent rubber, stainless snorkle and decent exhuast.

I've got a tray for my Hilux that's the same mitch, going to be a masterpiece if it gets finished, at this rate I might get a mate to finish it as we are about to start stripping about 30,000 acres of winter crop. Looking forward to seeing the cruiser done, and the Hilux, that's a weapon, it's had a workout! Been a good read when I am trying to study for exams, uni what's that anyways..

Thanks mate. Not sure which pic your looking at, I've had a couple of different lifts under it, it's always had 2 inch suspension plus 2 inch body lift. Always worked well together with the 33's. Most of the time it's had 2 lift from ultimate suspension.

Got the tray finished on the cruiser a while back, I was struggling to find time to get it done so most of it got done between 10pm and 3am in the end just to get it finished, bloody over it by the time it got done. Tray sits a tad higher than I'd like but it means I have a huge amount of space under the tray for storage, spare tyre goes under there up near the cab and rest I just fill with other junk plus a couple of boxes each side.

Also fitted a 3 inch exhaust, not to loud but loud enough I know it's a v8 8-) could help myself but stick 35's on with wide offset rims on the rear to correct the track, hopefully widen the axle oneday. Stuck with bfg muddies again, always been good on the Hilux. Got a fatz fabrication stainless snorkel sitting here waiting to go on, just have to cut the shit out of the guard and bolt her up.

Where did you get the tapered under tray boxes from?

One way to truly get rid of every squeak and rattle Mitch - get a new Hilux. :)
