Hey fellas just thought I would post my build up of my 2006 Workmate. Im trying to do all the cheap mods because I am only a apprentice mechanic (For those who dont know mechanics get paid SHIT wages) so I try to keep the price to a minimum.

Here we go first bought the hilux looking like this around 100000km's on the clock
Image
Within a week I was putting in a amp and 2x Rockford fosgate 6" splits in the doors
Image
And getting my front bar sprayed, grill, and wing mirros. And later on got the door handles sprayed
Image

Then I got convinced to put clearance lights down the side. Originally I only had 4 per side but now I have 7 a side. Also removed the "Workmate" badge and the 2.7lt badge, Added a under tray tool box for storage (MW tool boxes)

And now a few on the front

I also have a UHF radio GME TX3100

This is what she currently looks like

Future plans are to mount my new taillights and some red leds on the rear, get another toolbox for the otherside, maybe a double din head deck or a carputer. Not sure yet

If you have any questions just ask away.

Are you cr1pp5's love child?

Nice build up. Keep us up to date.

I see you have asked about fog lights, I have a set if you like, maybe one of the sydney boys could bring them down from Coff's for you.

Mine is not a kit, it is straight out of a SR5. Will have a look at one of Seans SR's to see if any difference.

The painted grille looks good. I have wondered about doing this for a while myself.

I got it for $400 plus $10 for the radio insert from mannel motors at 5 Pioneer Avenue
Thornleigh NSW 2120, But that $400 is a discounted price. I think they retail for $450
