Hey guys i have been wanting to do a build since i first got the lux, ive taken lots of pics of my build but have never have got around to posting them up so i thought id give it a go!!! ive had the lux for just over a year now and absolutly love it!!!!! here it goes:
Image
Here is the beast the 3rd day i got it, already i washed it as you can see by the water, the washing novelty has worn off now lol. Before i picked her up, i had the dealer fit the genuine towbar and tubliner. They also had it tinted for me as well. PS click on pics for a bigger view.

Here is the first mod i put on her, the TJM FUG and TUG one of the best and cheapest mods i have put on.

Image
The most exciting mod i have put on her is the 3'' lift, compremising of Ironman 'C' 18mm coils with Bilstein struts which have been revalved and 2 extra grooves machined in. 5 grooves in total, im at the 2nd from top atm. Bilstein shocks in the rear, Ironman 'A' comfort leaves (for good flex) and Ironman greaseable shackles. (Sorry the pic is a bit blury and dark it was taken with a camera phone at night.) When i got the lift fitted i also got a 4'' Snake Racing rear extended braided brake line to accomidate the 3'' lift and extra flex.

Image
The same day as i got the lift fitted i had to change the wheels as the SR5 rims with the 29''s looked tiny . i fitted CSA Stampede 16X7 mags with 20p offset with Bridgestone D693 tyres. I fitted these tyres because my dad is a sparky at the tyre factory and he gets tyres cheap for me. Fitting the tyres after the lift had me and dad working into the night lol. We then found out the tyres fowl on the mudflaps so we got some braided stainless cable and pinned the mudflaps back to the chassis.

Looks good KTM, you have got the bug too.

What are the measurements on your lift from bottom of rim to guard eyebrow?

straight after lift was done 9months or so ago, on R16 mags were 814mm front and 840mm rear. After fitting my B/Bar plus other accesorys and alot of 4X4ing it now measures 800mm front 831mm rear.

After i got the lift, rims and tyres i let the bank account recover a bit while i did some cheap and easy mods like:
my Extended breathers: Rear Diff, Front Diff, ADD, Gearbox / Transfer case, i also removed the key and seatbelt beep. I then fitted my Miccon turbo timer at this time as well.
Image

A little while later i bought my ARB deluxe bullbar with factory fog lights, Genuine hard lid, Chrome and black billet grille and IPF 900 Xtreme Sport spotties which i upgraded to HID 6000k.

I fitted these all in the same weekend. The B/Bar was fun to get aligned properly  but i got there in the end with alot of paticence.

After another big spend i done some more conservitive mods like adding a Delpi fuel filter / water seperator because im shit scared of getting bad fuel one day. i also added 4750k head light globes and 4000k driving light globes because the factory halogens interacted with the HID spotties and it looked like shite lol. i also put in added seals in the Tray, hardlid and tailgate to water and dust proof. ill add pics of these mods soon.

Premier yeah its an easy as job, ya just need to get the rear diff union from toyota or an industrial hose place where i got all my hoses, baffles, connecters and all other bits and bobs. I can give ya the name of the place where i got all my parts from i also know the boss and employes there so i could help ya out there. ;) The headlight and foglight are tinted halogen lenses not HID sorry i should have been a bit clearer there, lol but the spot lights are HID.

Here is some of the pics i said id post up. First off here is where i mounted the Delphi filter and ARB compresser. I used all the exsisting holes in the gaurd so i didnt have to drill into the gaurd. The compresser is mounted to the gold passified plate which is bolted to another 2mm plate which i drilled the holes in, which is bolted to the gaurd. To get it all level i made spacers up to sit between the gaurd and the 2mm plate on both the compresser and the Delphi filter. With the Delphi filter i made a bracket up to hold it where i wanted, I cut a hole out to see if there is any water collected in the glass. I also used the holes in the guard to bolt it in place.
