So after years of owning and modifying the LN106 and my wife having an N80, i bought a N70 to build up as a tourer.

Its a 2011 Sr ex mine spec, as far as i can tell, got it off a mate i worked with.
Plans are SAS, 4link rear, custom chassis mount canopy, front mount, paint etc

Ordered a Jrace Solid Swap kit straight away, and started getting stuck in. I run my own fab business Ground Level Fab. and am a qualified boilermaker.

Heres how i got the car.

and a couple hours later.

I ordered the stage 1 kit from Jrace.
Which came with:
Cromo Front diff housingto suit 80 series gear
Coiltowers
Radius arm mounts
panhard mounts
10" Kings coilovers
kings steering stabilizer
HD panhard
billet solid drag link
Custom radius arms to suit 80 series bushes.

I also had to find for myself, complete 80 series front diff, swivel hub rebuild, bolts, radius arm bushes etc.

Couple of hours of sanding and grinding and we have a bare chassis.
I had to remove, complete IFS subframe, gearbox crossmember, exhaust mount drivers side, powersteering lines, steering shaft to steering rack. Using a plasma cutter, then using cubitron sanding disks cleaned it all up.

I then marked and trimmed the engine bay to fit the coiltowers, and clamped to double check fitment.

After a copper weld through prime and check, i tacked it all in place and bolted everything up to cycle suspension without the coils in.

then removed for welding out.

Nice build. Good to see someone having fun with the n70. It's a solid platform.
