Thanks! I was looking on eBay and scored a set of Bushwacker OE style for less than half price, hard to beat... (edit: these didn't fit, they were for a different version and didn't cover the factory flare holes... Ate loads of shipping, will be asking Utemart very nicely to ship to USA for me)

Working on finding a new image hosting service and I'll get those links fixed. The last few weeks I have been changing all the fluids, so far rear diff, xfer case, radiator and trans pan gasket/filter. Front diff and brake fluid forthcoming.

I've updated the photos on the previous pages to a new service, hopefully they will last for a while!

I looked at Utemart flares, they look great! Unfortunately, shipping is likely to be double the cost of the flares... I love the fact that they use inserts and actual screws on the side instead of simulated on some models!

Got the transmission pan removed, looks pretty good considering I don't believe any of the fluids have ever been changed. Replaced the filter and sealed with Toyota FIPG as per the FSM. I also pulled all the skidplates and side guards as I think rewiring the front end will come next.

Tore into the front end to rewire a few things. Winch is getting a shutoff relay, all scotch locks are being removed and the front LEDs are getting wired to a switch instead of coming on with the fogs. Along with some tidying up of previous wiring.

Got some help polishing the headlamp.

Image

Repainted the battery tray and added ceramic H4 receptacles to replace the damaged OEM ones. Also ended up with an OEM battery for now instead of an Odyssey. 120 out the door with a 60 month warranty...

Making up the new fuse/relay box brackets now, I'll leave some circuits for future additions. Now just need some time to finish cleaning up the old wiring!

Work will start picking up here in a week or so, but got the winch solenoid mounted next to the battery tray.

Also got the wiring on the RH side cleaned up and loomed. Waiting for the cable ties that fit in the ovular Toyota slots to show up and it'll get secured.

Did you have any luck with the CV shafts yet?

Not yet, they've gone to the back burner while I finish electrical items. Next will be a full Dobinson's suspension kit, new control arm bushings etc, I'll probably tackle the CVs then. If they feel good I may just reboot them, not sure.

I did look at Utemart, love the fender flares but they don't ship to USA :-(

Thanks!

Finally made some headway yesterday, finished up the RH side and reinstalled the airbox.

Image

Wired the winch shut-off solenoid up and finished looming the left hand side. still waiting on .25 split loom for multiple areas...

Image

Loomed up the wiring into the cab, I added 2 extra wires to the center dash switch locations and 2 extra to the drivers switch locations for future additions to the HWB60 fuse/relay box, Also a 16ga from the fusebox to be used for a USB receptacle. Wiring should be indiscernible from OEM when complete.

Image

Removed the hood release cable gaiter and installed a grommet for the pass through.

Image

And lastly got the bracket for the HWB60 sprayed and baked.

Some more progress on the wiring, Made a power cable that will supply to 6 positions of the panel and started routing wires, got the panel bracket mounted up as well.
