CDNN70 wrote:Hey! Question for you, have you had to look into sourcing wheel bearing/hub assemblies stateside yet? I have have my lux in Canada now for two years and I have a front wheel bearing that is starting to make a bit of noise. From what I can see they don't cross to anything I can see but I'm still looking.

Love the rig btw!!

Not sure if you've got them in Canada (or the US), but in Australia we've got dedicated bearing suppliers & distributors who supply any & all bearings to all kinds of Industries. Wheel bearings are just one of many things they stock. Just a thought.

You can get genuine from the bearing manufacturers, distributors and dealerships that I'm speaking of because they are the suppliers to (in this case) Toyota. In most cases you'll also be saving on Toyota's markup.
Just a Thought.

Probably made by Timken, world's largest bearing manufacturers suppliers to Toyota ;) made in Japan and elsewhere

Timken wheel bearings made in the USA? Timken wheel bearings are made in the USA, Mexico, and a number of other countries. The bearings are all made to the same high worldwide standard which Timken is well known for.
Cheers Gipsy :D although I'm sure somebody will challenge that  even Einstein wasn't certain of his theories.
