Yes nice stereo, but are you sure it will fit?? The majority of Toyota's here in AU don't use a generic double DIN enclosure, but have a specific "Toyota" shape and size just to make it easy?
They are available though..........

AmeriKUN26 wrote:Good question, I noticed they sell Toyota specific head units in Australia, they're not available here for some reason. I'll be using some adapters that fill the small gap on the sides. But to answer your question, no I'm not sure it'll fit yet, but if it doesn't I'm good with fiberglass...

I'm fairly sure that a generic double din unit won't fit a standard Hilux dash fascia, but there might be an easier option that making your own? There are several options available that arn't too expensive.![]()

Some of us here in AU fit the Nissan Patrol disc brake setup to our Hilux rear ends. It's a fairly cheap and easy swap, but the hand brake is the main issue with this rear disc setup. I've done the handbrake to mine, but haven't had a chance to fit the discs yet.

I find the camera really handy for hooking up the trailer - wouldn't be without it.
Cheers,

I am thinking of running the earth wire from the plate light to the positive side of the reverse lights so it gets its ground through the reverse light bulbs so when in reverse the plate light will turn off.
Will only work if you have incandescent bulbs in reverse.
