Hi All,

I thought I would post a couple of pics of my LED rocker switches, took a bit of nutting out to get them all working correctly with the negative switching etc, if anyone wants pics of how I wired them feel free to holler out and ill send you some pics etc.

I bought 2x MOM ON/OFF winch switches and a spare single throw on/off switch to make my winch isolator switch, Just removed the front cover off the second Winch switch and fit to the ON/OFF switch and colour in the arrows with a Permanent Marker. The switch isolates the winch earth, as well as the in cab winch controls.

The empty space on the panel near the steering wheel is going to be used for rock lights when they are installed.

Over all pretty happy with them, as they don't get hot like my old ones.

I also pulled off the intercooler, and had a look down the EGR valve, Just wondering if you guys reckon I need to pull off the intake manifold and clean it out? It is a little oily but not plugged up at all.

So over the long weekend this weekend, I plan to clean out my intake manifold, block my egr, remove and paint tray and clean up wiring under tray and fit diff breathers.

Maybe even fit my onboard compressor if I have time.

Will try and take plenty of photos for yas.

Haha,

I got it done.... thank god what a mission..

8 hours of cleaning manifold, EGR Valve, Elbow, Vacuum filters, MAP sensor filters.

Then I completely blocked the EGR (Mine is 05) 100km in and still no fault codes, and it goes better in the midrange too.

I then removed the tray, sanded and painted it, ran extended diff and transmission breathers up to top of headboard.

Will put some pics up tomorrow.

Question for all you fellas out there, I am going to build a trundle draw under my tray, was thinking about putting a camping kitchen in it?, or then could always store spares etc in there and put the kitchen in the canopy??

Feel free to give your thoughts, im sorta on the fence on this one.

I'd be putting the kitchen in the canopy and leaving the draw for tools etc. Doesn't really matter if the tools get a little dusty or wet!

Ok so I have achieved a fair bit in the last couple of weeks...

Fitted Kings Foxwing awning to canopy
Fitted struts to canopy doors
Fitted Dual spares to rear of canopy
Fitted rhino roof racks
Fitted Kings roof cage
Fitted Kings 42" Light bar to roof cage
Upgraded Spot lights to the Kings 8.5" Lazers.
Lobbed the DP Chip and got the ECU Remapped.

Will post pics once I get a minute.

Also purchased a second winch, solar panel, dyneema winch rope & a small air tank for the compressor.

Next up, lockers.....

Nice build mate!
Have you had a chance to try out the Kings Lasers? Do you rate them?

Also, I thought I was at the limit of fitting in a Hilux being 6'3"......how you and grunf manage is beyond me :D

Hey mate,

Yeah I fit ok haha, its heaps better than the Mrs patrol anyway (Knees sit on the dash)

The kings lasers are really good but are spot only, very little spread, hence the 42" lightbar as well.

Would it be a good idea to do a step by step on changing rotors, rebuilding calipers and changing shoes?

Or has it been already done?
