Cheers guys.
Ordered tyres today, 315/75/16 Nitto Trail Grapplers (had them in 265/75/16 and loved them) on 0 offset steelies. Took a while to explain to the guy how they were going to fit on my Hilux...

Quick update. Dropped into the workshop today to pick up some bits and pieces and took a pic to show my wife.....she wasn't super impressed so thought I'd post it up. Here it is at the moment, with all the new mounting points welded in place. Diffs go on tomorrow :D

New tyres are sitting there waiting to go on......they are huge in comparison to the 32's that came off it.

So, got a heads up from the shop doing the SAS. Had a few set backs timing wise (radius arms were on back order, engineer approving the work is on holidays now and a mix up with the couriers getting it back from Qld and turning up to the workshop a few weeks late and landing with other jobs they had booked in) and I won't be getting it back for about a month when the guys get back from the break and can finish off the last bits. It's not the end of the world, and they've been amazing putting up with me hassling them through this......but damn I'm stinging to get it back :D

SAS is getting done by http://kinselaskustoms.com.au in Wetherill Park NSW. Best bet would be hit them up if you're keen. They have a base price that includes engineering, and then you can start ticking endless options :D

So......

It's been a while. Still don't have the ute.
Turns out Kinselas Kustoms started to blow up after word got out they did the SAS and 4 link of Jock from 4wd Actions Hilux. It's a 2 man show and they were getting smashed. My ute was waiting for backordered parts and got pushed to the back of the queue and it got stuck on a hoist collecting dust.

It was booked in this week for engineering, got pushed back to today and then to next week. My 1 month wait has turned into 5. They knows they f@%k*d up and have thrown in a few freebies and upgrades, which doesn't help right now, but will be nice when it's back I guess.

I'm out of town with the family again next week, but, barring catastrophe, should be picking up a SASd, twin locked and 100% street legal Hilux on 35's with a bunch of goodies thrown at it.

And then I'm going to have to learn how to drive again

But its gonna be a good feeling when your back behind the wheel! Can't wait to see the finished Hilux!

Apparently I'll be driving it home after the weekend! Just a few bits and pieces from the engineer and we're good to go. Got sent this, and suddenly it's all been worth the wait :D

Been a long wait.....but I DROVE IT HOME TODAY!!!!

Only took one photo in the excitement, so I'll have to get that sorted over the weekend and go through the build. Still have a few bits and pieces to sort out over the next week or so, but to say I'm pretty happy with it is a massive understatement!

Found a shot I took way back when it only had a 2" lift and 31's.

.....vs today.

That looks amazing. Look forward to more pics. What’s behind the rear number plate?
Keen to see how you deck out that canopy too.

My day didn't work out as planned, so no photos for now. But I'll get em in the next few days. Got a bit or organising to do.

And my missus was a driving force behind this.....I was thinking of bailing on it a few times, but she insisted that I go for it.
