It’s going well, hit the 1000k mark at Hamelin Bay on the weekend so retorqued all the bolts in the car park there. Was surprised how much I got out of the U bolts. I need to measure up and post before and after heights on my build page.

Interesting black one looks nice, conflicted though listing says 2005 on-wards but then on the comparability section says my car isn't compatible..Crit purchased one though so should fit 2007 right ?

Really need to get into this rear bar... am officially on holidays now so now I don’t have any more excuses!

Here’s a few little things I’ve done along the way that I forgot to add in.
Image
Bonnet struts, by far one of the most convenient mods I’ve done, especially now it’s abit higher, its a pain in the a$&% trying to put the bonnet latch in.

Image A bit of foam I cut up to direct all airflow through the bonnet scoop through the inter cooler after the body lift. really noticed a difference on average 4 degrees cooler water temp.
Also filled in the gap between the radiator and body. Image

A little fuse panel I put in when I rewired all the accessories.
Originally there was inline fuses coming every which way off the battery terminals, even I few hidden ones I didn’t know about.
Image

Some dust seals for the tub, work perfectly!
It’s amazing how much mud and dust actually gets in. Not a problem anymore.
ImageImage

And just some LED camp lighting I threw on quickly before the last tripImage

What did you use to stick the foam onto the intercooler cover ?
Clever idea btw.

Thanks mate, Just some Bostik black seal and flex. I use it at work whenever I need to stop water getting in somewhere, it's good stuff!

Hey Tyler
Can you tell me the specs of the rubber strip you used for the tub dust seal? And where did you get it? I gotta do that mod! Huge gaps that suck the dust... I was just thinking I need to seal the tub, then saw your post!
Cheers!

Hey mate, you can actually buy a kit made for it with everything already cut to size.
I got mine of eBay, here’s the link:

Thanks Tyler... there's more to it than I first realised, with those corner sections on the tailgate. Definitely easier to go for the kit. Thanks for the link!

Hey man, been following your build and loving all the little things and of course all the big mods!
Did you happen to have part numbers or links for the Aux port and USB ports on your new switch panel?

Cheers, Cam.

Thanks Cam!
When I bought the aux port I paid $47 which I thought was pretty dear at the time, just had a look then and this is the cheapest I can find....
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FACTORY-OEM- ... Swc2FaEp3s
If you are looking for something to fit in there have a look at Critter350's build he cut out a section of his old panel and glued it into the new to fit a regular size switch, Great idea and looks neat!

Heres the link to the usb ports:
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/12V-Auto-Du ... SwnTdaOLyP
Also saw these the other day which I thought was pretty cool, Same thing but has a voltage display of the battery!

So all the gear for the brake upgrade has arrived.
Bendix Ultimate WRX STi pads
Dba T2 4x4 survival series slotted rotors
HEL braided and extended brake lines.
Hopefully get a chance to throw it all in on the weekend and let you guys know how it goes.

Image
Went for a fish last weekend a few hours from home in the middle of nowhere and “accidentally” drove around a road closed sign and up this track they are cutting into the side of the hill. No idea what they are doing, just gets to the top and stops, maybe a lookout??
Anyway took the photo op
