Has been a fantastic car with only a few issues so far.
Good Stuff:
Just about to tick over 370000kms and the only things that have been replaced (that aren't service/wear and tear items) are the water pump at 210000, front rotors at 300000 and rear shocks (one developed a leak) at 340000.
Averages under 8L per 100km mostly unless 110kmh zone where it's a little bit more.
Has done everything I've asked of it with no hassles.
Still on the original injectors and clutch.
Not so good stuff:
Too loud on the highway
Back seat rattles (though somewhat fixed with back seat mod).
Windcreen scuttle panel rattle (fixed with felt)
No adjustment in the instrument dimming
Aftermarket dealer fitted cruise not the best
Mods (not many):
Canopy, Cooper at3s fitted at 350000. Fuel economy is about 0.5L / 100km worse off everywhere.
Fitted an Eaton detroit locker but after 10000kms it was driving me crazy so switched to an Eaton True Trac LSD. Can now drive up 1% slopes on wet grass
.Was serviced by Toyota until 300000. I now DIY minor services but take it back every 40000 for the majors.
John (Talktheroo) has been looking after me by doing diagnostics for the last 40000 or so.
