Finally got to this!
Bought a 2013 dual cab a few months ago ex-lease car from Orix. Only 87,000km on the clock and picked it up for $2K less than the ticket price, though spent that $2K saved on new brakes and a full service.
Planning to build it up into a tourer with full canopy kitted out for camping. Canopy has been installed now, will post pics soon.

So the canopy arrived and is bolted in place. Now to start the fit out. Full 12V system with aux battery in the canopy and solar ready. Drop fridge slide on one side and drawers on the other.
Will take a while to get it right but thats ok, keeps me busy!

Nice looking canopy. Any plans to spray it white or black, or just leave it as is? What other plans do you have for the Hiliux? Any reasons why you aren't putting your second battery in the engine bay?
