99% done now.
Ran out of screws due to my mathematically challenged brain.
Got it together with some others for now until I can get some more good ones.

Thanks mate.
Timber is just your garden variety 'hardwood" from Mitre 10. Not sure how it will wear but not a huge job to replace down the track either.
Just slopped a few coats of jarrah oil/stain gloop to change the colour up

Thank you. It's been a learning experience, that's for sure. I guess that if I was to attempt something like this again it would be easier and quicker. Thanks for the tips earlier on too.

If I had a tray like that I'd be too scared to put anything in the back of it!

Nah, it's just a ute. If I wanted a showroom special I'd do up a WB or something. Better to have a few scratches and some stories to tell about em. The rest of the ute is like that. Bush pinstripes everywhere

Decided to put the left over sound deadener from my front doors onto the rear panel behind the seat.

Before : dusty AF.

Washed it then stuck on the "PingJing" sound deadener.

Pic of the box for anyone wondering what gear it is:

The stuff made a big difference in the front doors, hopefully will get the same result for the rear of the cab.

Not too sure, reckon I got it for about 90 bucks off flea bay, about 2 years ago.
About 15 sheets or so I'd guess. Pretty heavy stuff so freight may be an issue.

Was able to do the front doors (inside the outer panel) and the back that you can see above, with 4 sheets to spare.
Sheets are 200x400.

Where we're going we don't need back seats.
We need space for beer however.

Setup a couple of loops to hold the fridge down.

Careful ya dont get done! Pretty sure if ya have for doors ya need seats and belts in place! A mate and I got done years ago when we were into db drag racing. If ya have belts you must have seats and visa versa.

Got an Ultimate Suspension lift kit ordered today.

Looking forward to getting that installed.

Brendan and Ken were great to deal with.

Lift kit went in last week, had 2 inches of sag below standard plus 2 inches of lift. Kids have trouble getting in the back seat.

Also built a tradie rack at the back of the tray. Mostly there for the Kings awning.
