Daniel's SR5 Hilux

Hey guys! Welcome to my 2008 SR5 Dual Cab Hilux. It's my first ever car and I love it!! Thought I'd put it up on the forum just for some expert advice and some help and opinions along my journey as I am a newby!! I bought it completely stock about a month or two ago.
Here it is.

Wasted no time to getting some work done on it!! Got it done by OL. 2" Dobinson Lift, Xrox Bullbar, 265/70/R17 Kumho tyres on 17x8 King Black Terras.

Then did some work on my own just taking the side rails off and the chrome bumper at the back off, also with some matte blacking of the logos and the back tray door, took the mudguards at the front off too.

Nice one mate! Good clean slate to start with. Need to black them mirrors and door handles out and rattle can all the while body work behind the bar. You could also get ya self a tailgate brake light off a newer model as they had clear ones, would look better on the black tailgate! You've been bitten buy the mod bug! Happy modding man!

Just installed a muffler delete on the truck, very simple and easy to do. Will post pictures soon. Much nicer sound than the stock exhaust!

The muffler delete I bought off eBay if anyone is looking for a simple and cheap solution compared to getting a whole exhaust system. DEA Performance I bought it from. Was around $90

This is what the muffler delete looks like. It's not bad and sounds way better than stock. It is a good cheap solution but will be soon getting a 3" system to maximise performance exhaust wise.

Also took off the canopy and soon to put on a sports bar. Slowly but surely coming along.

Also put on a 42" LED straight light bar and 9" LED spot lights which I am more than happy with giving me plenty of light when driving at night, lights finally done!
