Quelchy's 2012 Dual Cab

Hey Everyone!

I'm loving reading these member buildup's so I'm gonna start one myself! (Will be a work in progress)

3 months ago I picked up my 2012 SR5 Dual Cab Hilux with 130,000 K's on the clock. Was used as a shopping trolley for most of its life, so was pretty stock, except for the canopy & dvd player!

Flew up to Mackay and picked it up. Drove it back down to Brissy! Nothing like a road trip in a new car :D Image

The spare off the old mans 120 series Prado happened to find its way onto the lux  Image
Filled in the gap nicely but scrubbed quite a bit with the standard height!

That one was a 33 inch! Had a little bit of a play with some plasti-dip and the radio surround, I think it came up a treat, stops alot of the glare! Image

Added a strip of leds to the inside the canopy, need some sunnies when you turn them on 8-) Image
Also installed a redark dual battery system and a neoprene centre console cover for a little bit of extra comfort!

Next up some light for the front..

I chose some to add some sneaky STEDI QUAD LED Driving Lights behind the grill until I get my bar work. Really happy with the light output for the size of them, 1km easy even behind the grill!

It was the week before Easter and I decided I needed new tyres for a trip away... which meant new lift to fit tyres!
I opted for the Dobinsons MRR adjustable kit, really happy with the quality and the comfort of the ride. Definitely better ride than the saggy standard!
Picked up the kit and a few hours later it was in

It's hard to get good help...

Next up was the tyres.. I ended up going with 32's went to the 4x4 and fishing show in Brissy and got a good deal on some Bfg A/T's! I wanted something a bit different to black sunraisers so I paired them with the Tuff T6 rims.

Its somewhere between a 2&3, my front was sagged so much to start with its about a 3.5 from how it was. Not sure what ET means could you please clarify?

oh, yeah, offset might be the correct term.
The term ET originates from the German word 'Einpresstiefe' which translates as 'insertion depth' just to clarify that :P
