Jimmy's 07 single cab

Hey all thought it was time to chuck a couple photos and some
Details of my Hilux up

So it's an 07 SR single cab
Bought it stock standard in November last year
So far I've put on the tray off my old Hilux which luckily was the same colour
First couple of things I did was put a snorkel on
Rip out the old bench seat on the passenger and swap it with a bucket seat and centre console
Fully sound proofed cab and doors to make things a bit quieter inside
Sr5 style flares so that the new tyres didn't stick out
For the tyres I went with a 32"X11.5" BFG All Terrain on 15x8 circle sunnies
Next was the lift which is a 2inch Efs kit with heavy load in the front and 200kgs constant in the rear
I was a bit stuck on a Bullbar for a while seen as the arb are so expensive and so common, but then I got onto buds customs and they had a ripper new model out called the outback bar which you will see in the pictures( couldn't be happier with it)
Also chucked a couple lights on it
Over the holidays I had a bit of time so I had a crack at building an overhead console for it to put voltmeters, uhf, rocker switch points, and a bit more storage, came out pretty good just gotta do a bit of cleaning up on it
Also installed a red arc dual battery system

I think that's about I for now but soon to come will be some side protection(scrub rails and sliders), which I will be going back to buds customs for.
Long range fuel tank, water tank underneath and a pump
Will probably chuck a winch in it some time down the track
And have a go at building a canopy for it ( so if you have done one for yours feel free to give me
Some ideas)

Also will be putting a 3inch exhaust on and looking at getting a remap done

Cheers guys

Nice work on the roof console too! I built my own as well, turned out way better and cheaper than any of the shelf! What sound deadener did you use? Doesn't look like one I'm familiar with.

And snakesoup
With the front I just took the map light out, built it into my console then used the same holes with longer screws
As for the back, if you look closely in the last pic, I put brackets on the console and just screw into the roof frame with short tech screws.
Was a bit of a pain putting it in but mostly coz I had nothing to go off

The sound deadener is called underdog, just an eBay jobby, was petty cheap I think about $150 for 6m2, and seems to work pretty well

Hey mate, great looking rig. Just a quick question. What offset rims are you running and are you running standard UCA'S? I'm thinking of running this size tyre in future and want to know how you got on.

Cheers

Hey ultra, just running 0 offset rims and standard UCA's , I put the tyres on just before I did the lift and they scrubbed very slightly but once i went up 2 inches it was no worries even Offroad.

Cheers mate

Nice single cab mate! Good to see another on here. Is there much more room in the cab with bucket passenger seat?

Thanks Rayne, yeah dont see hardly any on here hey, would love to see some more
Yeah it is so much better having the bucket seat, just because you get the centre console, which is pretty handy in my opinion, definitely worth doing. I just went to the wreckers and got seat and console for about $150 from memory

Hey jimmy, nice lux! Could you put a couple more shots of the buds outback bar up. Still deciding on barwork myself. How much was it if you don't mind me asking?

Gday Pommy

Cheers mate
Yeah here are a couple more photos of the bar. It was $2250, so works out cheaper than an arb bar plus the recovery points come with it unlike most bullbars. Highly recommend it mate, even if you dont like that style there are a few others, just check out there facebook.

Hey mate
Did you have to modify the seat ?
I've got 2012 workmate with bench seat and want to put a bucket seat in its place .
Cheers
