Ok guys! (and gals!)
You heard it here first, im going for 33" !

I've already bought in 2 sets of BFG KM3's (secondhand and almost as new)
One set for summer and the other for winter(studded).
2884 springs are in the garage together with a pair of trimpackers.
New set of wheels have been stored for 3 months already and wont be revealed for another 4 months!
The specs i can tell you are 17x8,5 with a 0 offset.

There will be cutting, but how much i do not know yet, so we will just have to wait and see when I try on the winter set first as they are going on my current wheelset that are 17x7,5 with an offset+15.
They might fit with only plastic surgery, but will update you guys once thats ongoing

Just pray everything fits, i really dont want to cut in the BM for this as there are some regulations on modding that here in Norway...

Will just have to wait and see for now, fingers crossed!

Alright! So 33" on 17x8, +15 offset wheels do fit on a 2" lift!

No BM chop for now, but modifying the splash guard and front bumper is necessary with this setup.

I will be installing OME 2884 springs in the front later on to get the nose up, also adding 5mm packers on each side to add more lift.
This change is to help when i put on my summer set that has a 0 offset with the same tires. May have to do a BM chop, but time will tell when the time comes in 3months or so [emoji4]

These are the Vors VE37 Bronze 17x8,5 with a 0 offset, wrapped with BFG KM3 in 285/70 r17.

Yet again, another year has passed since last update! Sorry[emoji85]

This time i will add some extras! [emoji16]

Life updates, we added a EV to the family park recently. Ofc it had to be metallic gray to suit the Luxy! its my missy’s car so she’ll be the one driving it the most[emoji39]


Old 3d printer got replaced with a new one, more car parts to be printed, and have recently updated my centercaps on my summerwheel set. Will post a photo of that once i remeber it.



The latest upgrade to the Hilux is a new headunit.
My 6 year old Kenwood was outdated so i replaced it with a Joying 9" Headunit.
This one im pretty stoked for as it has so much additional features can add to it. TPMS, OBD, Camera etc etc.
I mostly purchased it for the Apple Carplay, but already using the OBDII reader together with the App "Car Scanner".
Will be adding a front camera later to it for offroading purposes![emoji16]


Previously this year we also replaced the RTT to a newer model of the one we had previously.
A big upgrade in material and quality!

Well, looks like im gonna just update my thread once a year now looking at my last update, haha!

For those that dont follow my Instagram or Facebook pages, I can start off by telling that i sold the GreyLuxy which id own for just over 7 years, new owner picked it up the week after New Year’s Eve, a bitter sweet day knowing that that Hilux teached me more about trucks and cars than i ever knew I would!

Fast forward to today, im now in my "new to me" Hilux, a late 2010 model D-cab with 150 000km on the clock.

Cant express how stoked i am! Been dreaming of owning one ever since i got my first X-cab Hilux back in 2011, the same time i joined this forum!

Since i picked it up back in October, my DIY canopy, RTT and interior bits & pieces, and light setup were moved over from the old Luxy to this one. Ive also added a 2" receiver in the front as well as a baja-bumper(iconic Icelandic style bumper), got my self a winch with synthetic rope, that needs a some overhaul.
Already been out wheeling it in the snow for the last few weeks. Oh boy sure is fun!

Hope to update more here as things changes!
