Great car looking car there, how is EU comming along?
Whats the plan with the front end if you sell the bar and lights?

The EU/MOT check didnt got through with the local toyota dealer because of the lift wasnt in the papers(vognkort). And neither was the bar, they were very harsh about it

Will be showing it to MOT(vegvesenet) at the end of the month to have it written in, have already sold the bar and lights, so dont have to worry about that any more.
Only thing now is that the wheels are sitting about 1cm outside the fenderflares, so not sure how they are gonna react to that...

About the front end for the future im still not sure, just finished up the rear view cameras yesterday, so i think i will be surfing the forum again to get some ideas
Thinking about doing a HID conversion with a lens kit, just to get some proper drivinglights for the fall and winter

It looks like you changed the offset on your wheels to much, so MOT will react on that. Easier if you had a second set with normal tires to put on when showing it to MOT.

The cameras looks really good , cant say that I am to impressed with the original camera on my lux.

Jup, the offset is 0, so they are out of the ordinary
The camera are good, payed about 850NOK and i can say im satisfied

Not much to say, once again, going back to MOT on the 4th of October, hoping everything will be a-ok by them so i can put the old wheels back on, the car looks nasty with the 255/65R17s on it, its afoul! (so bad that i dont wanna post a picture!)

Whats new is that i sold the 42" LED bar and bought my self 2pcs of 20" LED bars that are spots and not combo.
Hope to reduce the the glear from the hood as it was freakn blinding with the old one.

The newest mod now is I will be starting on my very own "Satoshi Grill Mod".
I'm gonna use the OME grill and hopefully it will turn out as i expect.

Stay tuned guys, will be posting pictures, gonna use the weekend on it so hope nothing bad happens or i break the plastic...
But have high hopes for this mod as i have been drooling forever to change the grill!

Unfortunately, i was able to damage the mesh a little, so might have to buy a new mesh later on.
But all in all, i'm 90% satisfied with the end result, this is my first time handling the glass fiber so i was very happy that it turned out this good

Will probably put on "TOYOTA" when i find the correct size for the grill

Done some more work yesterday and today!

The letters are made of plexiglass, and cut by hand, so they arent perfect as i dont have access to a cnc machine
But i think ive done a good job, so will post pictures as soon its on the car [emoji4]

Yes, i have thought about it, but the mesh i got doesn't reach at that width...
"Biltema" mesh you know ;P But will think about it in the future, see if i could find anything that can replace the original

Found a seller on ebay that sold snorkels for a good price. so a snorkel is on its way to me from the UK.

Oh, yes, i'm starting to think about fabricating a front bumper.
The Rhino 4x4 front bumper for gen. 7 is a beauty! and it takes the looks of the car to a whole nother level.
The only thing thats stopping me is the laws here. EU has some laws on how the bumper should be if one should hit a pedestrian. So having a bullbar mounted must also have TüV papers that say that its pedestrian safe....
But what i'm thinking is to fabricate the bumper in fiberglass, that way its softer for the pedestrian(IF i should hit one that is).
But its just a thought, may prob do it next summer tho

Love the looks of the Rhino bumper, but not sure about the laws. I know the bullbars need papers, but this is not an bullbar.. its a fancy ass bumper isnt it? So not sure if there is anything stopping us having a nice new bumper ?

Yeh, i was thinking the same, its only a "replacement" bumper... *wink*wink* And if i should hit a moose, I wont kill it! would have been smashed if it was steel! So thats a positive thing to if its fiberglass!
I think i must read some more about this, if there are any chance that i*m breaking the law some how, I wanna know what exactly what law that is
