Hey guys, Im starting an LS1 conversion with 4L80e auto in a kun 26 hilux, still trying to work out the picture thing to go along with the build!

What computer are you going to be using to run the LS1? Are you just going to run the standard commy unit and splice it into the hilux ignition or something?

this conversion would be so good, is there much weight difference between the 2 engines?

What sort of $$$ will this cost???

The engine is an LQ9 6.0ltr from a Silverado in the USA, so has a transfer case already attached to the auto, engine/auto control will be an LS1 style ecm, (they look the same but are a bit different) as it comes as part of the engine package, the transfer case is electric so will be all on switch no stick hopefully! not sure on final cost, its pretty involved tho!

yeah done a fair bit, just need to put up some pics, plumbing is all done and electrics are all done, need to get headers and exhaust system done now
