So i treated myself to this bad boy.

picture uploading

And trimmed a small section of my bumper as below pic shows where the tyre was hitting the bumper and thats only a small flat curb reversing into my driveway..

So a small trim and no longer have any scrubbing on the bumper at all which is all i wanted to achieve until my front bar arrives

I have a minor scrub now at full lock but am yet to pinpoint what the tyre is hitting exactly. Tyre gets close to chassis and swaybar...

I think its the swaybar

So dissapointed in buds customs.

Unbelievable wait time. Havnt been able to enjoy my new car properly offroad as im waiting for my effin bar which was paid in full on the 1st of may. Sigh. Someday soon ile be able to take the kids on a trip down south. Frustrating.

Have all my monster rides gear sitting here waiting just want my bloody bar already.

Fj rims are 17x8 x +15 offset

I went 285/70/17s. Maxxis bighorns. Expect scrubbing man theyre a bit loud on road but value for money worth it in my opinion. Full lock no scrubbing unless its under compression.

Obviously havnt had a decent wheel alignment done since tyre and wheel fitment because i need to fit the bar and winch, which will pull the front end down as my front springs are extra heavy duty to accomodate the bar n winch, then get my mr diff relocation brackets and aftermarket ucas fitted all at once.

Then get a wheel alignment to suit...

Hey guys,

A question in reg to fitting bigger wheals/tyres?

How much diff does it make to driving the vehicle?

I assume your finding it heavier on the clutch?

Pro's vs cons?

Cheers

Hey bud, nice looking rig. Have you got your buds bar yet? Also with your MR diff drop bracket, do the CV boots touch or come very close to the stem of the shock?
Don't worry, my dad's a tv repair man, he's got the ultimate set of tools

Will you fit a winch into a buds bar at a late stage. Ie able to mount the bar without the winch fitted straight up or if fitting winch late would need to drop the bar off again???

Input appreciated.

Hey josh if you haven't already worked it out yet you have your number plate bracket upside down. If you torn it over your plate will fit without blocking the winch.
